Civil Defence would like advice from residents on the current distribution of the portaloos throughout Mt Pleasant. If you know of instances where the toilets are not being used and/or where they could be better utilised please contact ian.Wilson@dia.govt.nz . As there are serious pumping issues with our sewage system east of the Ferrymead bridge residents are being asked to use the portaloos provided wherever possible. Currently our raw sewage is flowing into the estuary.
Help needed to clear our cycle paths
Sunday 27 March. Help needed for sweeping cycle lanes between Sumner and Ferry Bridge. Meet Tom at Coffee Culture Sumner at 9 a.m. or Pam at Ferrymead Bridge also at 9 a.m. Come with broom and bright clothing.
