These fortnightly gatherings of local residents have been happening since October 2010. They are a way of sharing produce from our gardens and kitchens while at the same time getting to know more hill folk. They run 3-4pm each Sunday fortnight, out front of the shops on Major Hornbrook Rd. Come with a a little something to exchange and stay for as long as you like during that hour. Often we have cake & coffee to share, sometimes accompanied by our local ukulele group! Things we swap include: garden produce, home made jams, chutneys, sauces etc, seedlings & plants, books, and the occasional haberdashery or clothing item. There’s always lots of chat & laughter. Good for the soul
