Farmer’s Market

The Mt Pleasant Farmer’s market sprang into life only a few weeks after the February 2011 quake. With no supermarkets or local shops to buy food, Farmer’s Market organiser Tom Davies quickly filled the gap by establishing the market on the grounds of the Community Centre, 3 McCormacks Bay Road. It has been a great hit with the locals ever since.

Christmas Hours: The Farmers Market is open 17th Dec Normal; 24th 9am til Lunchtime with Carols, mulled wine and Christmas Cake; and 31st Normal.
