Raise the Roof Fundraiser

NOW!

The fundraising campaign to finance the covering of the deck outside the Front Room Cafe has officially got underway. The aim is to make the area weatherproof so that it can be used in all weather. It consists of a louvre roof and clear plastic sides that can be rolled up in good weather - think Riverside or Ocean by the Sumner clocktower.

It doubles the number of tables that front on to the estuary, and allows a clear view of the Llew Summers sculpture, Flight.

It also means that it can be booked for functions such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Details on how to donate are o on flyers at the community centre. or donate to this account:

Bright Idea

Got An Idea?

We are always looking to host new community groups. If you have an idea you'd like to try out for a club or regular group get in touch with Kaye here. We can provide the venue as well as support with promotion and admin related to your group. If you have a community not for profit group that is open to members of the public and looking for a home, we may be able to help with that, too.
