The Front Room Cafe is currently closed for a revamp.

 

Serving teas, Switch coffee, homestyle baking and light lunches. Every dollar you spend in the Front Room goes to support the work of the community centre.

Mt Pleasant Memorial Community Centre & Residents’ Association (MPMCCRA) has been part of the Mt Pleasant Community for 70 years. Originally established at the same time as the Community Centre was built, our role is a wide one. This is essentially to ensure the social, cultural and recreational needs of our community are fulfilled.

We are seeking a self-motivated person(s) with excellent barista skills and baking skills to operate our community café on a contract basis. This is a unique opportunity to work in and alongside this community setting while also establishing your own business.
